The poker deck consists of 52 cards like most of the prevailing card games. The entire deck is divided to 4 suits namely Club, Diamond, Heart and Spade. Each suit has got 13 cards starting from the Ace and ending with the King. The number sequence goes like 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 followed by three face cards Jack, Queen and King. It’s needless to mention that 2 or deuce is the lowest in rank while Ace is considered to be the highest in online poker. However, in an exceptional case, Flush Ace can also have the lowest value of 1 also.
In online poker, the suits get hardly any preference. Rather, it is the number sequence or rankings that play the pivotal role.
The suits are often denoted by the abbreviations namely C (Club), (D) Diamond, H (Heart) and S (Spade). The suits are also referred as Colors like many card games. The beginners can take a note that in most of the cases, the cards are colored in two varieties, Red and Black. The Diamond and Heart suits are red while the Club and Spade are marked in Black. Again to repeat, all suits in online poker deck are equally ranked.
