Horny Wives | Why Do Some Men Cheat On Their Wives?

There are many reasons some men cheat on their wives. Few of them are as cut and dried as most people imagine. The old “all men are dogs” argument simply doesn’t work in this enlightened age we live in. There’s almost always a reason and it is rarely the fact that men are “dogs.”

So, why do men cheat on their wives?

Lulls in the marriage. All relationships have ups and downs. Some relationships have a rockier road to bliss than others. If you’re in one of the downs it’s a vulnerable time for the man in your life. This is a time when he can easily be led astray by a woman on the prowl. In fact, many men who would never dream of cheating during any of the “up” times in your marriage can be tempted (and may even cave) during the down times. You can’t eliminate the down times altogether but you can take measures to make them as short lived as possible and to lengthen the amount of time in between the lulls.

Lack of communication. Communication is critical to your relationship. You need to talk to one another in order to maintain that emotional connection that husbands and wives share. Talking about work, kids, and money are not the same thing as having a nice long conversation about the two of you, where you’re going as a couple, what your dreams are, and how your dreams are changing more and more as life goes on. These are important conversations and will help keep your marriage on solid footing.

Complacency. Some men feel as though their women simply stop trying once they are married. It’s the old “the honeymoon is over” feeling that can make him vulnerable to “the other woman” who is so obviously trying to get his attention. How do you prevent this from happening in your marriage? Put a little effort into looking good for him. Go to great lengths to make his favorite meal once in a while. Make an effort to make him happy and you’ll find that your marriage is much healthier as a result.

Sexual issues at home. Whether the issues are related to a distinct lack of sex at home or the feeling that he needs a little more (something new and exciting perhaps) that he’s afraid to ask you for if there’s a problem with your sex life it’s going to be difficult to keep him happy at home. The other woman presents the opportunity to explore what he’s missing or what he wants to try new without facing judgment (most men really believe they won’t get caught) from you. Talk about fantasies. Explore them together or risk having him explore them with someone else.
